2/05/2009 - FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY
Boy Scout Troop 219 will have a flag retirement ceremony behind the church on February 5, 2009, and have invited the Cub Scouts to attend. Each den leader should decide whether his den will attend the flag retirement or if they need to have a regular den meeting that night.

2/05/2009 - PACK PLANNING MEETING
There will be a brief meeting after the flag retirement ceremony for all those interested in helping plan for the summer and next year's activities. This meeting is for all current pack and den leaders, those who want to be future leaders, volunteers, and any parents/grandparents/etc who want to have input into the pack's future plans.
2/19/2009 - PINEWOOD DERBY CAR WEIGH-IN
Instead of the regular den meeting on February 19, 2009, we will be weighing the scouts' Pinewood Derby Cars. All scouts wanting to participate in the Pinewood Derby MUST bring his car to weigh-in that night. If you do not have a car kit, please see Mike Montgomery at one of the den meetings.

2/22/2009 - PINEWOOD DERBY EVENT
The annual Pack 3019 Pinewood Derby Event begins at 10:00 AM at Grace United Methodist Church. Each participant must weigh-in on February 19, 2009.
2/26/2009 - PACK MEETING
Our next Pack Meeting will be held on February 26, 2009. Pinewood Derby awards and trophies will be given at this meeting.
2/28/2009 - CAMPING TRIP TO CUMBERLAND CAVERNS
For perfect temperature, no bugs, no rain, any-time-of-the-year camping, Cumberland Caverns' "What Waits Below" Adventure Trip is for you. Pack 3019 is planning this adventure to Cumberland Caverns for the weekend of February 28. For anyone who is interested in going, sign-ups for the trip are due at the den meeting on February 5, 2009. The cost will be $20/person and is due by February 12, 2009.

Cumberland Caverns' "What Waits Below" overnight adventure begins as you enter the cave in the afternoon, not to emerge until next morning. Spend the night crawling, climbing, squeezing, and squashing through amazing sights, spectacular rooms, and unsurpassed formation. During the evening, you will experience "Ladders in the Caverns," the "Lemon Squeezer," and the world famous "Bubble Gum Alley." For more information, contact Mike Montgomery.
